The primary focus of 8U Traveling is on softball fundamentals, skill development and building a love for the game.

Tryouts may be held to introduce players to the process. 

Teams play a league game schedule, plus up to (2) tournaments and a State Tournament.

Practices and play will be held two nights per week (Mon/Wed).

8U is a machine pitch league so players will not pitch during games; however, it is strongly encouraged that every player work on pitching during practices.

League games consist of single games around the metro area. The last two league games will be doubleheaders. There are no umpires during league play. Youth umpires will be used at the State Tournament.
